These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including but not limited to moving, storage, packing, and related services. By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our services.

1. Services Provided

Kingsland Movers offers a range of services, including but not limited to:

  • Local Moving
  • Long-Distance Moving
  • Commercial Moving
  • Residential Moving
  • Moving and Storage Services
  • Packing and Unpacking Services

All services will be provided in accordance with the details agreed upon during the booking process and subject to availability.

2. Booking and Payments

  • Booking: To schedule moving services, customers must provide a valid booking request via our website, email, or phone. A confirmed booking requires an agreement on the scope of services, dates, and locations.

  • Payments: A deposit may be required at the time of booking. Full payment is due upon completion of the services provided unless otherwise agreed. We accept various forms of payment, including credit/debit cards, checks, and cash. Payments for services rendered are non-refundable unless specified in these Terms.

  • Estimates: All estimates for services are provided as approximations. The final cost may vary depending on factors such as the volume of items, time taken, and any additional services required.

3. Responsibilities of the Customer

  • Preparation: The customer agrees to properly prepare the property and items for the moving process, including the removal of all obstacles and ensuring that the items to be moved are safely packed and ready.

  • Accurate Information: The customer must provide accurate and complete information regarding the move, including addresses, access details, and any specific requirements. Failure to provide accurate information may lead to delays or additional charges.

  • Responsibility for Items: The customer is responsible for ensuring that items being moved are properly packed and labeled. Kingsland Movers will not be held responsible for any damage to improperly packed or unsafe items.

  • Insurance: While Kingsland Movers takes care in handling items, we recommend that the customer obtain insurance coverage for their possessions during the move, as we cannot be held liable for damage to fragile or valuable items unless specifically agreed upon.

4. Moving and Storage Services

  • Storage Terms: If the customer utilizes our storage services, the customer agrees that Kingsland Movers will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to stored items unless caused by our negligence.

  • Access to Stored Items: The customer may request access to stored items at our discretion, subject to available hours and prior arrangement. Any removal or retrieval of items may incur additional charges.

  • Moving Delays: While we strive to meet the agreed-upon moving schedule, we are not responsible for delays due to weather, traffic, unforeseen events, or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Damage to Property: Kingsland Movers is liable for damage to items only if it occurs due to the negligence of our team. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper packing or handling by the customer.

  • Force Majeure: Kingsland Movers will not be held liable for failure to perform services due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or other events deemed to be out of our control.

  • Indirect Loss: We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or data.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing at least 48 hours before the scheduled move to avoid cancellation fees. If a cancellation is made within 24-48 hours of the scheduled move, a partial refund or fee may be applied.

  • Refund Policy: Refunds for services will only be considered if the customer is dissatisfied with the services provided due to circumstances caused by Kingsland Movers. All claims for refunds must be made within 7 days of service completion.

7. Customer Claims and Dispute Resolution

  • Claims for Damages: Any claims for damages to items must be made in writing within 7 days of the move completion. The customer agrees to allow Kingsland Movers to inspect the damaged items before processing the claim.

  • Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through informal means or mediation before resorting to legal action.

  • Arbitration: If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be submitted to binding arbitration under the laws of the state of Florida.

8. Privacy Policy

Kingsland Movers is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect personal information only for the purpose of providing our services. This information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or necessary for the execution of services.

9. Modification of Terms

Kingsland Movers reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and become effective immediately. It is the customer’s responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Florida.
